How to service the intake manifold on 2001 Mercury Cougar?

To service the intake manifold, remove the air cleaner outlet tube and disconnect TP sensor, IAC and engine control connectors. Remove fuel supply manifold, detach and move engine harness, disconnect vacuum hoses and brake booster line, remove fuel wiring, accessory belt and generator, remove intake manifold, discard gasket, reverse procedure.
