After removing the LH cowl top vent panel screw you must disconnect the washer hose from the LH washer jet nozzle. The seven spring retainers need to be released to remove the top vent panel of the LH cowl. Remove the wiper motor clip from the right hand mounting arm and pivot shaft followed by disconnecting the RH windshield wiper mounting arm and pivot shaft from the left hand components while moving them to a position outside the windshield wiper motor. The electrical connector should be disconnected while a professional removes the ground strap nut to set the strap aside. End the windshield wiper motor removal by disassembling its bolts and stud bolts. You must reinstall the parts by putting the retainer clip onto the correct position of the mounting arm and pivot shaft before you install on the motor crank pin. Before installing RH components it is necessary to fit both LH mounting arm and pivot shaft to the motor and subsequently affix the retainer clip onto RH mounting arm and pivot shaft before motor installation.
