A high lift transmission jack must support the transaxle but engine elevation should stop before excessive tripod CV joint extension occurs to prevent internal part separation with consequent halfshaft failure. A technician must raise the transaxle before taking out the transaxle support insulator. The first step requires removing nuts and bolts before raising the transaxle for removal of the engine and transaxle support insulator. The operation requires the removal of the rear engine support bracket. The first installation step entails mounting the rear engine support bracket with bolts then placing the engine and transaxle support insulator before tightening the bolts in a loose manner.
