  A: The first step to remove the intake manifold begins with uninstalling the wiper arm, pivot shaft together with the air cleaner outlet tube. Unglue the fuel line and fuel charging wiring electrical connections from all eight ignition coils together with eight fuel injectors as well as the fuel pressure sensor the fuel temperature sensor and engine coolant temperature sensor. The isolation valve wiring lead requires separation from the upper generator support bracket before its disconnection along with the generator battery cable. The inner fender splash shield requires removal of power distribution box access cover together with its nut and wires which allow disconnecting the fuel charging wiring electrical connectors.
