Service of the Mass Air Flow (MAF) sensor begins with disconnecting the battery ground cable. The service of the MAF sensor starts with disconnecting its electrical connector followed by releasing the air cleaner tube clamp before moving it away. Detach the MAF sensor by unfastening its four bolts and then fully remove it. The MAF sensor consists of calibrated electronics modules and bodies which need replacement as one unit and any modification of the sensing elements within the air flow bypass inside the MAF body is prohibited. Follow the opposite steps to reinstall the device.
