How to service the Mass Air Flow Sensor on Ford Explorer?

In order to service the Mass Air Flow (MAF) sensor, disconnect battery ground cable. The MAF sensor module and body are adjusted and are supposed to be serviced as a unit. Do not allow interference with the sensing elements. Take the parts out one after the other and install in the same order.
