How to Bleed the Brake System After Installing a New ABS Control Module on 2001 Ford Mustang?

When performing brake system bleeding after 4WABS HCU replacement or HCU line opening you need to first wash the brake master cylinder filler cap from debris before filling it with specified brake fluid. A clear waste line needs connection to the RH rear bleeder screw and its opposite end should go into a container containing recommended brake fluid at a specific level. The RH rear bleeder screw requires opening to allow brake fluid streaming while an assistant maintains brake pedal pressure then the screw becomes tight. Perform the operation until you see clean fluid which does not produce any bubbles while continuously filling up the brake master cylinder reservoir. Proceed to disconnect the waste line after you tighten the RH rear bleeder screw and perform the bleeding process on the LH rear bleeder screw and then the RH front disc brake caliper bleeder screw and finally the LH front disc brake caliper bleeder screw. Proceed by mating the DCL cable adapter of the scan tool to the DLC connector position located underneath the dashboard before executing the tool's directions. The system bleed procedure must be performed again as instructed before.
