How to service and repair the fuel tank unit on 2001 Ford Mustang?

To service the fuel tank unit, pull the tank off and clean the surroundings of the module flange. Unscrew the module assembly, take care not to break components. Check and tighten flange seal and surfaces and re-install the module correctly and align and tighten bolts and then replace the tank.
