Use your fingers to maneuver the locking tabs which will enable you to extract the module from the fuel tank while being cautious of the float arm filter convolute tubing and wiring. Inspection of the fuel pump assembly flange seal must be done before reinstalling the old assembly and replacement may become necessary depending on the condition. Prior to mounting the fuel delivery module insert both the fuel delivery module flange and fuel tank flange surface into cleaning solution followed by installing the fuel delivery module by downward pressure until the module tabs properly engage the retainer and the fuel tank retainer maintains correct alignment.
