A suitable jack should support the lower front suspension arm while you mark down the positions of the upper arm adjustment cams on the front suspension. Separating the ball joint from the front wheel spindle starts with removing its retaining nut and pinch bolt followed by removal of the front suspension upper arm through its two nuts and bolts together with its bushing joint. The first step of installation requires alignment of front suspension upper arm adjustment cam marks from removal while the forward front suspension upper arm nut should be tightened first when holding the arm at curb position ride height.
