After disconnecting the wiper motor electrical connector and battery ground cable you should proceed with service. From the right-hand side access point remove the cover through its screws and subsequent removal. The wiper motor clip should be unsnapped manually by reaching through the opening while you detach it from the right-hand mounting arm and pivot shaft. It is essential to first remove the right-hand windshield wiper mounting arm and pivot shaft from the left-hand mounting arm and pivot shaft before moving both components away from the windshield wiper motor. To remove the windshield wiper motor you should detach the stud bolt followed by the bolts. To install reverse all steps then check that the mounting arm and pivot shaft retainer clip fully sits into place before connecting it to the motor crank pin. Mount the left-hand mounting arm together with the pivot shaft onto the motor before the right-hand mounting arm and pivot shaft installation.
