    A: Safety measures need to be observed first during fuel rail servicing because highly combustible mixtures exist. The service requires disconnecting the ground cable of the battery along with fuel pressure relief before continuing the work. Disconnection of fuel lines should start with removal of the throttle body before drive belt removal. Separate the first connectors belonging to the fuel temperature sensor and fuel pressure sensor while also removing the connector of the main fuel shut-off solenoid. Remove the generator cable first then disconnect the electrical connector together with the harness pin-type retainer before removing the bolts and generator mounting bracket. The speed control actuator cable and accelerator cable must release from their crash brackets before disconnecting the transmission electrical parts from the heated oxygen sensor and rear cylinder brackets. First disconnect the wiring connectors which removes the transmission harness from the stud while allowing you to remove the wiring bracket along with its nut and bolt. To proceed remove the crash bracket followed by disconnecting the ground connector from the RH rear stud as well as removing the generator harness locator retainer from the LH front stud. The procedure involves removing the four studs to detach the fuel injection supply manifold and fuel injectors as an assembly after unfastening the eight fuel injector electrical connectors and the crankcase ventilation tube. The procedure for fuel injector pocket lubrication requires clean engine oil while using new fuel-resistant O-rings that should not include reused O-rings. The fuel supply manifold together with fuel injectors must be fitted as a single unit with correct torque values applied to the studs. After re-installing the crash bracket and its bolt and stud secure the crankcase ventilation tube and eight fuel injector electrical connectors. Fasten the fuel supply retaining bracket while reattaching wiring connectors with its corresponding nut and bolt. The LH heated oxygen sensor connector gets installed while the crash bracket receives the fuel charging pin-type retainer. The crash brackets should then receive the accelerator cable and speed control actuator cable.
