How to Service and Repair the Mass Air Flow Sensor on 2002 Ford Crown Victoria?

In order to check the Mass Air Flow (MAF) sensor, unplug the battery ground cable and the connector of the MAF sensor. Dislodge the air cleaner outlet tube as well as the bolts clamping the MAF sensor. Do not interfere with the MAF sensing elements. Install the body and MAF sensor module as one, and repeat the un-installation steps to install the component.
