How to Service the A/C Accumulator on 2002 Ford Escape?

In order to service the accumulator HVAC, initially empty the refrigerant. Disconnect the A/C manifold and tube to suction accumulator and remove the A/C cycling switch and plug all the ports to avoid contamination. Next take out the suction accumulator and repeat the process to install but lubricate the new accumulator using the suitable oil.
