How to properly service and repair the spindle on 2002 Ford Expedition?

Turn off air suspension system to avoid being inflated without prior warning before servicing the spindle. Lift the car, take off the tire and prop the suspension. Use a Pitman Arm Puller to remove different parts, and part the lower ball joint and spindle. To install, replace with new cotter pins and reverse the process.
