    A: The first step when servicing the HVAC accumulator includes disconnecting the ground cable from the battery and removing the junction block splash shield. The next step requires you to disconnect both starter relay cable ends before removing its retaining bolts to shift the junction block bracket. First recover the refrigerant then remove the electrical connector of the A/C cycling switch and disconnect the manifold along with the tube fitting by discarding the used O-ring seal. Unbolt the accumulator bracket while also unlinking the suction accumulator/drier spring lock coupling from the evaporator core by removing its O-ring seals. After you remove the suction accumulator continue by taking the A/C cycling switch off its position at the accumulator top. Installation requires the same procedure in reverse order with clean PAG oil lubricated O-rings and application of the correct amount of clean PAG oil in the refrigerant system.
