How to service and repair the A/C Switch control assembly on 2002 Ford F-150?

A proper repair or service of the control assembly begins with uninstalling the climate control assembly while gently depressing the snap tabs on the function selector until the knob falls off. The temperature blend control switch should be removed after unscrewing it and rotating it out while the knob drops off simultaneously. Depress the snap tabs to remove the blower motor switch and the knob will also fall off. To achieve successful installation follow the steps in reverse order from how you removed the components.
