First disconnect the EGR valve vacuum line together with the upper fitting of the EGR valve tube and follow up by removing the two bolts to extract the EGR valve along with the gasket disposal. Installation begins with a proper cleaning of both sealing surfaces before adding a new gasket because the EGR valve features soft metal sealing surfaces. Install the EGR valve by firstly screwing the two bolts to 20 Nm (15 Lb-Ft) then turning another 90 degrees. You should first connect the EGR valve tube and the vacuum line and then position the bracket before installing the nut. Secure the accelerator control splash shield by tightening all its bolts.
