First eject the water thermostat together with its O-ring seal before discarding the old O-ring seal. You can install a new O-ring seal for placing the water thermostat inside the upper intake manifold after which you should reinstall and bolt the water outlet connection. As the final step complete the reconnection of the upper radiator hose while also performing cooling system filling.
