How to service and repair the evaporator core on 2002 Lincoln LS?

In order to fix the evaporator core, do a leak test. Take out the evaporator core housing and screws, unscrew clips and remove gasket. Take out heater/evaporator core housing and fittings. To install is to invert the procedure, lubricate the O-ring with PAG Refrigerant Compressor Oil and add the appropriate volume to the new core.
