How to service and repair the flywheel on 2002 Mercury Mountaineer?

In order to service the flywheel, detach the transmission afterwards the flywheel. Clean and inspect it. Installation may only happen with flywheel-specialized bolts. Install bolts in order of specified sequence in two phases first to 13 Nm (10 ft-lb), then to 71 Nm (52 ft-lb). Reinstall the transmission.
