The service begins by taking off engine air cleaner and followed by removing the air cleaner outlet tube. The pin-type retainer should be disconnected before the accelerator control splash shield is removed while installing a new pin-type retainer will follow. You can eliminate the speed control cable from the throttle body cam by compressing the retaining tabs and extracting the cable. You should detach the reservoir for radiator coolant by removing the screws. The speed control servo requires disconnecting its electrical connector while removing its fastening bolts to detach it from the inner fender well. The speed control servo can be removed by pressing on the locking tab followed by rotating the speed control cable cap to free the cable before removing the servo from its holder. The speed control servo needs to be detached from its bracket after unbolting it. Perform the opposite steps during installation after completion of removal tasks.
