In order to maintain the Throttle Position Sensor, then one should disconnect the battery ground cable, the accelerator control splash shield, the engine breather, and the IAC valve hoses. In the case of the 5.4L engine, proceed as shown the 4.6L is the same. Disassemble the electrical connector of TP sensor, and strip the bolts off. Reverse for installation.
