How to service and repair the cruise control servo on 2003 Lincoln Town Car?

To service the cruise control servo, remove screws and engine cover, move actuator cable aside. Disconnect cable from throttle lever and pulley-depress tab, rotate cap and push retaining spring to remove slug. Unplug electrical connector and remove servo from bracket. Reinstall in reverse, ensure seal and cap engage, adjust cable.
