How to Service and Repair the Air Suspension System on 2003 Mercury Grand Marquis?

In order to service air spring, make sure the piston is not clamped. Then put it on the flat surface and pull the solenoid out so that the air bag is opened, and then pull the membrane down over the piston to the correct height. Install the solenoid again in order to keep this height.
