When it comes to the repair of a rear bumper cover on four door cars, elevate the car, detach the drain tube, and take off retainers and screws. With Taurus, there are five retainers, two nuts and a scuff plate to remove, and with Sable, there are three retainers and two nuts. Lastly unscrew the rear bumper cover and reverse the process to fit.
