The first step requires removing rear transmission support insulator by unfastening its securing bolts and nuts. A high-lift transmission jack should be used for lifting the transmission which enables workers to extract the rear transmission support insulator. The new rear transmission support insulator must be positioned before placing the transmission down onto it during the installation process.
