Place the vehicle on proper support bases. Service of the ride height sensor starts by disconnecting bracket-mounted sensor arm followed by removing its securing bolts and unplugging the electrical connector. Prior to sensor installation the arm needs to be disconnected from both stud-mounted vehicle types before removing the nuts and disconnecting the electrical connection. Each height sensor is specific to its right-hand or left-hand side so they must remain on their original position on the same side of the vehicle. The reassembly process should be performed in the opposite order of disassembly.
