The service procedure for the power seat switch starts by taking out the front seat. Unplug the power seat switch electrical connector after which remove the rear screw together with the screws securing the front seat cushion side shield. When removing the side shield from the seat cushion frame take utmost care to protect the tabs from damage. The power lumbar hose and electrical connector from the switch must be removed when equipped along with the heated seat switch connector if present. Begin the installation by detaching the 6-way power seat switch through unscrewing it when both the front seat cushion side shield and the power seat switch have been removed. Perform the installation by following the complete reverse steps of removal.
