How to service the throttle cable and linkage on 2004 Ford F-150 Heritage?

To maintain the throttle cable, unconnect the accelerator cable to the pedal, remove the splash shield and release the cable of the retaining clip. Insert the cable into the engine compartment, unplug it on the throttle body cam and take it out of the bracket. Installation is in reverse.
