Begin the service and repair of the floor defrost door vacuum control motor by disconnecting the battery ground cable at first. Uninstall the LH lower dash insulator panel then disconnect the lamp. The service process begins with extraction of the two pin-type retainers and the fill panel after which all screws get removed. Start by detaching the vacuum line before removing the lighting module through screwing the module loose and clipping it off. The process of removing the floor/defrost door vacuum control motor starts by disconnecting electrical connectors then removing screws together with the bracket. This step requires you to remove both the clip and nuts. Finally, disconnect the vacuum lines. The installation of this system requires following the reverse steps shown during removal.
