How to bleed the brake caliper on 2004 Mercury Mountaineer?

You should start brake caliper bleeding by connecting a clear flexible hose to the caliper screw while submerging its other end in a container of partially filled brake fluid. Your assistant should both pump the brake pedal and keep the pedal depressed continuously. After attaching one end of a flexible hose to the caliper bleeder screw you must open the screw to start the fluid drain into the container. When the fluid ceases to flow you should shut the bleeder screw. More cycles of bleeder screw operation are needed until you observe break fluid free from air bubbles. The brake system requires selective bleeding since opening any segment of the system.
