Begin by removing the air cleaner housing as well as the brake master cylinder nuts and placing the brake master cylinder to the side. Switch off the power distribution box auxiliary relay by disconnecting it from the booster vacuum hose before putting both components aside. Before moving forward remove the instrument panel steering column opening cover followed by the self-locking pin of the Brake Pedal Position (BPP) switch. Remove the Brake Pedal Position switch together with its push rod from its retaining position in the brake pedal. Next follow the procedure to remove both power brake booster nuts before extracting the power brake booster unit. The completion process requires performing the steps in reverse order which were used for removal.
