The first step involves removing the bolt and oil level indicator and tube while tightening the bolt to 10 Nm that equals 89 inch lbs. The service of the left-hand H02S electrical connector entails its disconnection. The dual converter Y-pipe should be separated by removing its two nuts but reinstalled with a torque setting of 40 Nm (30 ft. lbs.). The engine lifting eye needs its two securing nuts removed before reassembly by torquing them to 25 Nm (18 ft. lbs.). The replacement process includes removal of six nuts before separating the left-hand exhaust manifold with its gasket which must be thrown away. Follow the removal procedure in reverse order by using new left-hand exhaust manifold gaskets while tightening the manifold nuts to 25 Nm torque (18 ft. lbs.) in their installation sequence.
