Start your service of the heater core by taking off the floor console and then continue with the two rear armrest bracket nuts when equipped followed by the armrest bracket nut and bracket if they exist. Remove first the rear footwell duct then take out the right-hand lower instrument panel insulator. First remove the floor duct and then lower the glove compartment before closing the compartment tight. First remove the four screws that hold the trim panel after which you can remove the nuts to set the accelerator pedal to the side. The next step includes disconnection of the steel retaining clip and then removing the left-hand and right-hand instrument panel brackets where the right-hand bracket is illustrated.
