2005 Ford Freestyle Fan Motor Parts Q&A

  • Q: How to service the radiator cooling fan motor and shroud on 2005 Ford Freestyle?
A: Starting to service the radiator cooling fan motor and shroud requires the disconnection of the battery ground cable. First remove the rubber retainers from the two coolant hoses on the fan shroud then place them aside. Unplug the electrical connector which belongs to the cooling fan motor. To release the lower brackets of the cooling fan motor with shroud you need to first remove its two securing bolts.
