How to service the radiator cooling fan motor and shroud on Ford Freestyle?

In order to service radiator cooling fan motor and shroud remove the battery ground cable and coolant hose retainers. At this point, unplug the electrical connector and take out the bolts holding the fan motor and shroud together. Installation can be done again, reversing the steps, tightening bolts to 6 Nm (53 inch lbs. ).
