How to Service the Crankshaft Position Sensor on 2005 Ford Mustang?

A hoisted vehicle in NEUTRAL position is the first step to service the crankshaft position (CKP) sensor. First disconnect both the ground cable from the battery then the electrical connector from the CKP sensor. Unbolt the two fasteners securing the CKP sensor until it becomes removable from its position. Installation requires performing the opposite steps of removal then tightening bolts to 10 Nm (89 lb-in).
