How to service the Engine Control Module on 2005 Ford Mustang?

The Engine Control Module can be serviced by first removing the battery ground cable. Then disconnect the three electrical connectors of the powertrain control module (PCM). Unscrew the two bolts that keep the PCM and remove it. In the case of reinstallation, tighten the bolts to 8 Nm (71 lb-in) and undo the steps of removal in order to install.
