The air cleaner outlet pipe needs removal and you must disconnect both throttle body electrical connectors followed by disconnecting the two throttle body coolant hoses from the coolant tube assembly while storing the inserted coolant hoses. The service requires inspection of the throttle body gasket before gasket replacement followed by removal of four throttle body bolts. These bolts need to be tightened to 10 Nm (89 lb-in) after installation. The coolant hoses connecting to the throttle body must be disconnected only when necessary after which the installation process requires reversing the removal order.
