Detach the vacuum harness which connects to the module before disconnecting the tube running between the EGR system module and the exhaust manifold. Remove both securing bolts from the EGR system module followed by module extraction which requires old EGR gasket disposal. A proper cleaning process should be performed on EGR sealing surfaces before installing the part.
