Remove the front door trim panel, then the latch shield screw and nut; retighten. Remove the latch shield and nut securing the door lock cylinder. When fitting a new cylinder, replace luggage-compartment, driver-door and ignition cylinders as a set. Discard faulty cylinders, use the lock-repair package, then reverse removal.
