Removal To service and repair the front wheel knuckle, the wheel bearing and hub should be removed. Disassemble the tie-rod end and lower control arm and hold the knuckle up using a jack stand. Do away with the knuckle and make sure that new nuts are installed. Before disconnecting components, be sure you have installed the tapered washer.
