Service of the rear window wiper motor begins by taking out both the rear wiper pivot arm as well as the rear window wiper motor grommet. When reinstalling the nut you must torque it to 7 Nm (62 lb-in) at the completion of installation. Open the liftgate window and remove the wiper motor cover trim panel from its position. The electrical connector needs disconnection before removing both rear window wiper motor nuts through a 7 Nm (62 lb-in) torque. You should also reinstall the nuts when they reach 7 Nm (62 lb-in). Finish the process by taking out the rear window wiper motor then conduct the removal in the opposite order.
