Fire suppression system present in the vehicle should receive a command to depower. The procedure starts with caliper brake removal and brake disc removal before setting mechanic wire underneath the caliper to store the rear brake anti-lock sensor. The differential pinion shaft removal begins with the lock bolt removal followed by removal of the differential housing cover. Do not break any parts of the differential pinion gears when you undertake this procedure. Push the axle shaft toward the inside and finish by taking out the U-washer from its position. Secure the pinion shaft lock bolt by finger-tightening it after pushing the axle shaft outboard. You should exercise caution when handling the wheel bearing oil seal during both axle shaft installation and removal. Apply lubrication to the wheel bearing oil seal lip before putting on the axle shaft and verify that the U-washer rests correctly in the side gear.
