The new fasteners need to be tightened to 70 Nm when performing the installation. The service of sway bar link requires replacing two lower nuts with new ones after washing them all together with their insulators and tightening the installation to 28 Nm (21 ft. lbs.). The first step involves removing the sway bar links together with washers and insulators then discarding the sway bar and its two brackets and the four sway bar bracket bolts. To complete the service install the sway bar bracket bolts using 40 Nm torque setting and follow the opposite order of steps to reinstall the components.
