    A: Service of the rear sway bar and link starts with discarding the sway bar link nuts and bolts after taking off all two upper bolts and washers. The new bolts need to be tightened to 70 Nm (52 ft. lbs.) during installation. The service of the sway bar link starts with removal of its lower nuts, washers, and insulators which get discarded while new installation should be tight to 28 Nm (21 ft. lbs.). Remove the sway bar links with washers and insulators followed by the removal of sway bar bracket bolts to extract the two brackets and sway bar which you should discard the bolts. After retrofitting, tighten the bracket bolts to 40 Nm then follow reverse the removal process to finish the service.
