2006 Ford E-250 Washer Reservoir Parts Questions & Experts Answers

  • Q: How to service the windshield washer reservoir and pump on 2006 Ford E-250?
A: Start the windshield washer pump and reservoir service by first lifting the hood and supporting it while also removing the battery along with its tray through four bolts which require a 28 Nm (21 lb-ft) torque setting during reinstall. Pursue proper fluid collection from the windshield washer hose after completing its disconnection procedure. The washer pump and reservoir removal begins by first unfastening the reservoir bolt along with the washer pump nut which must become tightened to 4 Nm (35 lb-in) while installing. First disconnect the filler hose as well as the electrical connector and separate the wiring harness locator from the washer pump and reservoir and proceed with disconnecting the windshield washer hose before removing the washer pump and reservoir. Reverse the reinstallation procedure after conclusion.
