How to Service the Mass Air Flow Sensor on 2006 Ford Explorer?

When servicing the MAF sensor, disconnect the battery ground cable and electrical connector of MAF sensor to begin with. Then take away the bolts and remove the sensor. During the installation of a new or repaired MAF, loosen the bolts to 2 Nm (18 lb-in) and use opposite procedures when reinstalling them.
