How to Service the Throttle Position Sensor on 2006 Ford Explorer?

To service Throttle Position (TP) Sensor, disconnect battery ground and Throttle Position sensor connector. You should either carefully withdraw the TP sensor screws, and discard the sensor and screws. Install a new TP sensor and screws and align the locator tab and tighten to 3 Nm. Re-connect electrical connector and battery ground.
